Operations

The Operations form lists the operations that can be started and the operations that are currently in progress. The list is sorted by priority. You cannot change this sorting order; the order is set in Isah Configuration. Use filters, if necessary, to reduce the selection of the operations displayed.

Note: If your terminal is set to require the entry of a work order or production order number, this form will initially be empty. Enter the work order or production order number to display the operations that match the number you have entered.

The columns display more information about every operation:

Started

If this icon is displayed in the Started column, the operation has started, or was started at some point and was then stopped, but has not yet been finalized. Finalized operations will be removed from the form immediately.

In progress

If the In progress column is empty, the operation has not started, or was started and then stopped without being finalized. If the column contains this icon, a machine is working on the operation. If you see a photograph of an employee, then that employee is the person working on the operation.

Quantity

This is the number of items that is to be processed or produced based on the preliminary costing in Isah. You can record how many of these items you have finished by registering quantities.

Material

The color in the Material column indicates whether the materials required for the operation are available. The material with the lowest availability determines the color.

Two color boxes in the Material column signify a cluster. The first box indicates the material availability for the line, and the second box shows the material availability for the cluster as a whole.

Predecessors

The color in the Predecessors column shows the status of the preceding operations. The operation with the lowest status determines the color of the column. If there are no previous operations, there is no color coding.
