Consolidation types

Use the 'Consolidation types' tab to create a schedule for each holding structure that is subject to consolidation. The structure itself is created on the Consolidation structure tab. Only schedules marked as 'Active' are available on the Consolidation structure tab.

For a simple holding structure, create one consolidation schedule. There may be reasons to create more than one consolidation type, including:

• Some holdings may be operating independently of each other.
• Some companies may have to submit financial reports more frequently than others.
• The holding structure is expected to change in the future.
