Why can't I change the status of sales lines?

The informational Sales line status overview form shows whether the status of a sales line can be changed. Some actions must be performed before the status can be changed. The informational form also shows which actions have been performed and which actions have not. The Help section for the Sales line status overview form sets out the conditions that must be met in order to change statuses.
