How can I use the report R1049 WIP by sales order?

The report R1049 WIP by sales order (production modules, Reports, Order analysis) shows the work in progress by sales line and/or production file for that sales line (if you set Report shows to 'All'). To view only production orders intended for stock, select the Including internal production orders check box. In this case, you are recommended to select just one sales order, so that, in addition to the details of that order, only production orders intended for stock are shown. If you do select multiple sales orders, make sure that you can distinguish internal production orders by their status or sales type.

Recommended overviews

The most commonly used overviews are:

• Closed customer orders: Only select historical sales orders and sales and production statuses of the type 'History'. Leave 'Including internal production orders' empty.
• Closed stock orders: Select one historical sales order and sales and production statuses of the type 'History'. Select the 'Including internal production orders' check box.
• Outstanding customer orders: Select all sales orders and sales and production statuses of the type 'Order'/'Actual Costing'. Leave 'Including internal production orders' empty.
• Outstanding stock orders: Select one historical sales order and sales and production statuses of the type 'Order'/'Actual Costing'. Select the 'Including internal production orders' check box.

For all overviews, select Report shows 'Totals by sorting', and Show lines 'WIP not equal to 0'.
