User Groups

User groups provide a quick and easy way to assign rights to users. Once you have defined the rights for a user group, all you have to do is link a new user to that group in order to grant that user the group rights. A user can be a member of several groups. In that case, the highest rights apply. If a user is part of a group with Read rights for a program code and also of a group with Delete rights for the same program code, the Delete rights are applied.

In the General Settings section, on the User Groups tab, you can manage user groups, i.e. you create groups and add users to groups (and remove users from groups). Add permissions to a user group by navigating to an application (for instance Isah Time Registration, designated as TR on the ribbon), double-clicking the user group under Application Rights and specifiying the permission under Group Rights.

Adding User Groups

  1. Use Neu (STRG + N) to add user groups.
  2. Fill the General tab and populate the group with users on the Users tab.
