Installing a test environment

If you want to install a test environment for your application, you need to configure a test database using Isah License Server Configuration.

  1. Start the application for the configuration of the Isah License Server: IsahLicenseServerConfig.exe.
  2. Click Tools, Options to open the Options form.
  3. Open the Environments tab. You will see a Production environments and a Test environments grid.
  4. Click the Add button below the Test environments grid to create a new test database, or click the Edit button to change the specifics for test database that was already registered.
  5. Save your changes.

See Register Databases in the Isah License Server User Manual for more information about the fields in the Test Environment grid.

If you connect the Isah Supply Chain Message Service with this database during installation, you are automatically working in a test environment. In test environments, no messages will be sent.

If the Isah Supply Chain Message Service has already been connected to a database and the database is moved to the Test Environments grid afterwards, restart Isah and the Isah Supply Chain Interface to activate the test environment for both applications.
