You can already enter component data that will be copied to the part or the production file during synchronization.
Fields
Most revision information is filled in automatically. Use the Description field to enter explanatory text for the revision. The List tab shows the first line of the description.
The Entered field is automatically filled with the user who created the engineering item revision and with the time it was created. The Released field is automatically filled with the user who released the engineering item revision and with the time it was released.
The release status is filled in automatically once one of the revision processes has been executed, such as Create engineering item revision or Release engineering item revision. The status indicates whether the engineering item revision has been released. The icon to the right of the field indicates whether a more recent revision exists and whether it has been released. Based on this information, you may consider whether it is sensible to apply an older revision.
The revision is not the last released revision; a more recent released revision exists. For a BOM line like this, you need to make sure that the BOM contains only the last released revisions before you can resume the release. If you leave the Only allow last released revisions of underlying lines check box empty, you can choose whether to use this revision or not.
The revision is not the last revision, but it is the revision that was released most recently. The more recent revision has not been released yet. If you want to use the most recent revision, you need to release it first.
The lowest level of a 3D model often holds single products, which could be purchase parts or production parts. For production parts, basic materials are used that are not drawn. In the 'Part' field, enter the basic material of an engineering item. After synchronization, the production calculation will contain a calculation line containing this basic material.
Note: This is true only if there is a link with engineering items. When there is a link with parts, the basic material is registered directly as a calculation line during one of the CAD integration processes.
