Engineering items must always be linked to a part in order to synchronize them with a part or production calculation.
The Engineering item revision - parts form displays the part that is linked to the engineering item selected on the Engineering items form. This link may have been created in one of the following ways:
If the engineering item was created with the Create engineering item process, and it was linked to a part during this process, the part linked will automatically be displayed on the Engineering item revision - parts form.
If a part was created during synchronization, the linked part is automatically displayed on the Engineering item revision - parts form.
If the engineering item was created on the Engineering items form, however, you need to manually establish the link with the part on the Engineering item revision - parts form.
