Projects

The Projects form lists existing projects and allows you to add new projects and project components. You can register project data relating to the time planning or the financial progress. You can also establish a link between a project and the order structure.

Use the menu items in the Settings menu of the Projects form to configure the project policies, such as the way dates are to be handled.

If a project date changes, another date or the lead time could automatically change as well. For instance, a change to the start date may result in a change to the end date. Specify how changes to the start date, lead time, or end date are to affect the planning:

Select whether a change to the start date should automatically result in a change to the end date or the lead time: Select 'Change of start date also changes end date' or 'Change of start date also changes lead time'.
Select whether a change to the end date should automatically result in a change to the start date or the lead time: Select 'Change of end date also changes start date' or 'Change of end date also changes lead time'.
Select whether a change to the lead time should automatically result in a change to the start date or the end date: Select 'Change of lead time also changes start date' or 'Change of lead time also changes end date'.

Replan linked order information

If you move a milestone within a project, and a periodic invoice line is linked to this milestone, you can set the processing date of this periodic invoice line to be changed automatically. To do so, select Replan linked order information, Periodic invoice lines.

Note: The fields in the Estimate column must be filled in manually, as these fields contain your estimated values and not calculations.
