Run the Standard Permissions.sql script. This script creates the correct default roles and permissions. By default, the script also creates the user who will be linked to the login. The 'IsahUser' role is linked to this user. If you want to use a different login, change it.

Run the Customizing_Permissions.sql script on the MS SQL database.

Run the Validate FKs and Rules.sql script. A number of unvalidated foreign keys will remain, and these will be displayed on the Output tab. This will be resolved in the repair phase.

1. Create a backup of the migrated MS SQL Server database.
2. Create a backup of the MS SQL Server conversion database.
3. Create a backup of the ASE test migration database.
4. Create a backup of the ASE conversion database.
