Before you start making changes to your data because of the year-end requirements, it is recommended that you create a backup copy of your database. If you do, you can always restore your end-of-year situation if that is necessary.
Create a backup of each database in which you will be making changes for the year-end.
Tip: If you automatically backup all your data each night and these data have not been modified since the backup was created, it is not required to create a backup manually.
