If you have configured the settings on the General tab to synchronize the engineering item revision with production after the revision has been released, you can enter synchronization settings on the tab.
On the Production status handling tab, you can change the status of production files after synchronization with production. This also applies to the production files created by copying the part calculation. You are only allowed to select statuses to which you have the appropriate rights. If you select the No status handling option, the statuses will remain unchanged.
When is a synchronization successful?
The status of production files is changed only if the synchronization was successful. The synchronization will be regarded as successful if the following conditions are true:
Assigning a status to underlying production files
If you have configured the part calculation to be copied during synchronization (on the General tab), the status entered will also be assigned to all underlying production files created by the part calculation.
Routings
If a production file uses a production routing, the status can be updated only if the status specified exists in that routing. If the status does not exist, the status will not be updated.
