Use production routings to set up standard phases for the production process, to make it easier for you to track this process. A routing describes the full path that needs to be followed in order to complete the production process. This path is composed of a number of consecutive statuses that are registered on the underlying routing lines. In order to be able to create a production routing, you should first define a number of production statuses.
If this check box is selected, this production routing can be used for parts of which the stock is controlled by the MRP calculation (Parts module, Logistics tab, Stock control field). The production routing will then be filled in on the Parts form (Logistics tab, Production routing field), and will be used at the time a production file is created during the MRP calculation. The routing is then entered in the production file, and on the first routing line with an 'Offer' status type.
Note: This check box can be selected only if the first underlying routing line has an 'Offer' status. This means that at least one routing line (of the 'Offer' type) must have been added.
Note: Once the MRP available check box has been selected, it can no longer be deselected.
