Comparing the engineering structure with the production structure

The Engineering structure form has been changed. You can choose to display not only the engineering structure, but also the linked production structure, and the differences between them. The settings enable you to specify which differences are to be marked on the form.

The Use net sizes and Use position number options on the Engineering form affect the synchronization and the production calculation. They also control which items are to be compared in the engineering structure and the production structure, however.

• The Use position number option controls whether the line number of the engineering item is compared with the line number or the position number in the production structure.
• The Use net sizes option controls whether the net sizes of the engineering item are to be compared with the net sizes or the dimensions in the production structure.
