0769 Actions - Alerts

The Actions form displays all or a selection of the actions created in Isah.

At various times, the Action reminder pop-up form shows the employee responsible the actions to be carried out. Only actions with a status of 'Not started' will be shown.

If one or more actions are shown, you need to indicate which actions you have noted by opening the Edit menu and selecting the Mark as Read option for all or a selection of the actions. Each time you receive an alert about an outstanding action, you need to indicate that you have noted the action. The Alerts tab allows you to disable alerts for each individual action. For example, if you have created an action for yourself, you do not need to be alerted to the fact that there is a new action for you. In this case, select the New check box for this action.

Alerts of actions to be performed are shown at the following times:

New

When the action has been created.

Reminder

Some time before the action should be started. Use the Reminder field on the General tab of the action to set the time between the alert and the time of the action.

Start date/time exceeded

The action should have been started by now. The alert appears if the start date and time have been exceeded but the end date and time have not yet been exceeded.

End date/time exceeded

The action should have been performed by now. The alert appears if both the start date/time and the end date/time have been exceeded.

Note: An alert cannot be displayed until the previous alerts have been marked as Read. For instance, if the execution of an action should have started, the corresponding alert will be displayed only if the 'Reminder' alert has been marked as Read.
