Program groups

Organizing programs into program groups makes it easier to grant rights. Program groups are effectively the forms you see in Isah. Forms are comprised of various programs, as they include a separate program for every tab available on the form.

To grant a user rights to one form, for example the customer form, you need to grant rights to all programs on the customer form. To facilitate this process, the Program groups file contains a group for every form. All programs belonging to a particular form have been included in the program group of that form.

You can also add custom program groups, for instance to organize your own programs.

Example

The form number of the customer form is '0001'. This number is shown in the upper-left corner of the customer form. To grant a user rights to this form, assign rights to program group '0001'. The rights to all underlying forms are granted automatically.
