Programs

The Programs form lists all program elements available in Isah, such as modules, forms, tabs, reports, and operations. Users can be granted rights to a program only if the program has been added to this file.

Some of the programs listed on this form are locked. These programs are identified by the check mark in the System program check box. They cannot be changed or deleted.

You can add programs if required. For example, if you have created a script or a report, you need to add it to the Programs form before you can grant Isah users rights to it.

Module rights

The Programs form is also used to set the module rights. The program code of a module has the following structure: X9999, where 'X' represents the module code. For example, '79999' is the program code of the Preliminary Costing module. You are recommended to grant users only rights to modules they will actually use. The fewer modules present in the main menu, the faster Isah will start up.

Note:

If a user does not have any rights to a module, this module will not be displayed in the main menu, nor will the module forms to which the user does have rights.

If you grant a user rights to a particular module, the user will not automatically have rights to all forms, processes, etcetera available in that module.
