You can use SQL query texts if you want to be able to use list boxes when compiling reports. To specify a SQL query text for a report, click the Selections button, click the Parameters button, open the Lookup SQL tab, and then enter the text in the Query field.
Example
When compiling the report R1001 Work order, you are prompted to specify the production orders for which the work orders are to be printed: 'Production order between ...'. To specify this range, retrieve the underlying production files, and then select the 'From' and 'To' values. This list of underlying production files is compiled using an SQL query text.
If a SQL query text is used for custom reports, the query code is higher than '1000000000'. Also, the System data check box is not selected in that case. The query codes are determined automatically.
Enter the SQL statement here. The SQL statement contains the fields you want to define in your list box. If the correct Language IDs are assigned to the fields, the created column headers are automatically translated into the user's language. When doing so, you must of course select a language that is supported by Isah.
