Message codes

The Message codes form lists all predefined default messages available in Isah. These message codes are used in the log to specify which actions could not be performed correctly or what the action results are.

Message codes are added to the log as additional information whenever an operation returns an error or processing message. The log also shows the time the error occurred or the message was returned, and the program returning the error or processing message, amongst other things.

Message codes are organized by specific message types, such as 'Errors', 'Warnings' or 'Information'.

To prevent particular message codes from being included in the log, for example because the corresponding messages are not relevant to you, add these message codes to the Excluded messages form. Then use the Log settings form to specify when these excluded message codes are not to be logged, for example if they are triggered by a particular program.
