Start date, finish date, plan type

Each project line has different start and finish dates:

• Estimated start and finish dates

  You can enter the estimated start or finish date manually, in combination with an estimated lead time, if required. If you enter both, the estimated finish date is calculated automatically.

• Start and finish dates based on underlying project lines

  If a project line has underlying lines (for example, if it is a subproject with underlying activities), the start and finish dates of the parent line are filled in automatically based on the latest start and finish dates of the underlying lines.

• Start and finish dates based on order information

  If project-linked order information exists, the start and finish dates are automatically filled in based on this order information.

The start and finish dates shown in the Gantt chart are based on the plan type of the project line. You can assign colors to dates based on their plan type, to make it easier to distinguish the different date types in the chart.

There are three plan types in Isah:

• Estimated
• Calculated based on underlying project lines
• Calculated based on order information
