Run the Modify FVP process to change the fixed valuation price of a part. The fixed valuation price of a part can also be changed on the Prices tab (Stock field), and with the Mass modify prices process.
The Modify FVP feature is only available if:
The List tab is not selected.
The stock valuation method for the part is set to 'Fixed valuation price' (see the Financial tab).
A list of changes to the fixed valuation price is available on the Part revaluation form.
Note: Changing the fixed valuation price (FVP) or the average purchase price (APP) of a part has financial implications. The reason is that they are the prices used for stock valuation. If Isah is linked to financial software, a journal entry is created when the FVP or APP is changed.
