Installation

  1. Exit Microsoft Outlook.
  2. Double-click the file Isah.OutlookAddIn.Setup.msi.
  3. Once the installation is complete, restart Outlook.

Email storage location

Isah allows you to set the location where you want to save email (and other documents for external communication). To set the location, open the General Settings module, choose Settings > Basic data > Documents, and then specify the folder in the Main documents folder field.

Note: The Outlook Add-In only works if a valid path is specified here.

Defaults

You can configure the default document type and the default document group to be used for emails you add to Isah. To specify the default values, open the General Settings module, choose Settings > Default values > Documents, and fill in the relevant fields. The status assigned to the email is retrieved from the Status field on this same form.

Note: The Outlook Add-In only works if the document types include a type with the extension 'msg' (do not add a period before 'msg').

You can also specify a default language. If you choose not to, the system language is used by default.
