Planned stock transactions

Use the Planned stock transactions form to view the planned changes for the selected part. The transactions can be both stock transactions and to-order transactions. The Planned stock transactions form therefore provides a complete overview of all information that is relevant to planners and buyers.

The transactions displayed can be subdivided into reductions and additions - including MRP orders ('Production' type, 'Offer' status) -, and result in a planned stock on a particular date. The nettable stock serves as the starting point. The nettable stock is all stock of a part that has the 'Available for order point method and MRP' feature. This feature (and the other stock features) are displayed on the Stock form.

The following situations are marked with red:

Use the fields in the Selection section to specify how the transactions are to be displayed:

Note: To-order transactions have no impact on the planned stock.

Tip: If the Include blocked stock check box on the Planned stock transactions form is selected, the planned stock will be calculated taking into account any blocked stock. You are recommended to select this check box, because blocked stock is also taken into account when MRP or the order point method is used.

Note: Whether or not purchase requirements are shown, and if so, whether all or only authorized purchase requirements are shown, depends on a setting in the General Settings module. If you set the Include purchase requirements in expected stock option to 'Never', purchase requirements will not be shown. If you select 'Authorized purchase requirements', authorized purchase requirements will be included. If you select 'All purchase requirements', all purchase requirements will be displayed on the form.
