Run the Initializing average purchase price process to create a correct basis for the use of the average purchase price. The process ensures that the correct stock quantity is determined, and allows you to specify an initial average purchase price. You can choose from the calculation price, purchase price, sales price, and fixed valuation price. This will allow Isah to determine the correct average purchase price in the future.

The process is used in the following scenarios:

• In order to support your fixed variation price, you want to keep a list of average purchase prices in the Last average purchase price field on the Financial tab.
• For some parts, you want to use the stock valuation method 'Average purchase price'.

Note: If Isah is linked to a financial application, changing the stock valuation method can have major consequences for your financial database.
