Use the Part revision control form to check the revision structure of the selected part revision. This allows you to see whether the part revision can be released. The conditions listed under Release part revision must be true.
The colors of the part line have the following meanings:

The line is not relevant to the release. |

The part has no released revision. When a revision is released, no 'red' lines may be present. |
|
The part has a revision with a start date that falls after the release date. This means a more recent revision exists. |
|
The part will not create any problems for the release. |
If you find that the part must be changed before the release can take place, right-click the relevant line. Then choose Open from the shortcut menu.
