The fields on this tab relate to the sales line that has been selected in the window on the General tab.
Whether or not you can fill in values in the Length, Width and Height fields, depends on the unit code set for the sales or stock unit.
If the quantities sold are registered in units on the sales line, they will be stock units, and the stock unit code will be used (Parts form, General tab). If the quantities sold have been specified in sales units, the sales unit code will be used (Parts form, Sales tab).
If the unit code is set to 'Quantity', no length, width or height can be specified. Only those items specified in the unit code can be entered.

Sold in stock units, Sold in sales units
These fields show the conversion of the quantity of stock units sold to the quantity of sales units, or vice versa.
Note: The quantities can be converted correctly only if the conversion details have been specified for the part in the Parts module (for example, '100 stock units = 1 sales unit').
The weight and surface area of the parts can be displayed only if the weight or surface area has been specified for the part on the General tab in the Parts module.
'Stock', 'Production', 'Purchase' origin
From stock, From production, From purchase
Use these fields to specify how many of the quantities sold you will obtain from stock, from production, or from sales. Parts may have various origins:
Example
Sold |
100 |
From stock |
25 |
From production |
70 |
From purchase |
5 |
Note: The Purchase, Stock and Production fields should collectively contain the full quantity from the Quantity field. If the sum of these fields does not match the quantity in the Quantity field, a message will be displayed. In this case, you can confirm the data on the shipping line only after you have corrected the quantities.
In this field, the quantities specified above it are converted to stock units by multiplying the quantity by the length, width and height specified.
Example
In the Parts module:
Stock unit |
m2 |
On the sales line:
Quantity |
50 |
Length |
2 m |
Width |
3 m |
Height |
- |
Origin:
From stock/production/purchase |
50 |
In stock units |
300 |
Quantities from stock are automatically reserved for a sales file if the sales line for which they are required has an 'Order' status.
If you obtain all or some of the parts sold from production, you need to create one or more production files for the sales line. This can be done in different ways. For example, you could configure Isah to create a production file automatically, or you could manually add a production file.
If a production file has been created of which all or some of the parts are intended for the sales line, the quantity assigned to the sales line is displayed here.
If you purchase all or some of the parts sold, you need to create a purchase order for the sales line. Once a purchase order has been created for the sales line, the Purchased field shows the quantity ordered for the sales line.
Additional 'Purchase' origin information
If the parts have a 'Purchase' origin, this field shows the order code that determines how the parts are purchased:
To order, custom: |
The parts are purchased according to the exact specifications entered on the sales line (quantity, length, width, height). |
To order, commercial quantity: |
The parts are purchased according to the purchase unit specified for the part in the Parts module (Purchase tab, Purchase unit field). The order quantity will be the number of purchase units required to meet the requirement. |
This field is only relevant if the order code of the line is 'Purchase to custom order' or 'Purchase to order, commercial quantity'. The supplier in this field is copied to the purchase requirement in the Purchase module. The field value can still be modified here.
