Use the Document property definitions form and the buttons to define properties that can be assigned to CAD documents. Document properties could be used, for example, as information for the BOM on drawings in 3D CAD applications. They can also be used to add other information to documents in the CAD applications. Examples are documents that will be sent to people outside of your organization and that will be provided with your company name or the project name to make them instantly recognizable.
BOM definitions are created for individual CAD applications, languages and tables (with parts, part revisions, engineering item revisions, or production files). In the CAD application, the linked Isah item determines which properties are applicable.
Where required, you can create custom definitions for each document type in the Custom document properties section for SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
