Authorization

The Authorization form is used primarily to authorize or unauthorize all calculation lines in a production file at the same time. The form offers a number of other options, including the option to update the requirement dates on the production calculation line.

In these fields, specify the components of the production calculation for which the actions specified are to be performed.

Authorize parts:	The production calculation of the parts is adjusted, depending on your selections in the Action and Date required sections.
Start operations:	The production calculation of the operations is adjusted, depending on your selection in the Action section.
Authorize equipment:	The production calculation of the equipment is adjusted, depending on your selections in the Action and Date required sections.
Authorize external operations:	The production calculation of the external operations is adjusted, depending on your selections in the Action and Date required sections.

The action performed and the place where this action is performed are determined by the fields in the Lines and Action sections:

Do not modify authorization:	- Authorize parts is selected:	The Authorization check box on the General tab remains unchanged.
	- Start operations is selected:	The Started check box on the General tab remains unchanged.
	- Authorize equipment is selected:	The Authorization check box on the General tab remains unchanged.
	- Authorize external operations is selected:	The Authorization check box on the General tab remains unchanged.
Change authorization:	- Authorize parts is selected:	The Authorization check box on the General tab is selected if it was deselected, and deselected if it was selected.
	- Start operations is selected:	The Started check box on the General tab is selected if it was deselected, and deselected if it was selected.
	- Authorize equipment is selected:	The Authorization check box on the General tab is selected if it was deselected, and deselected if it was selected.
	- Authorize external operations is selected:	The Authorization check box on the General tab is selected if it was deselected, and deselected if it was selected.
Authorize:	- Authorize parts is selected:	The Authorization check box on the General tab is selected automatically.
	- Start operations is selected:	The Started check box on the General tab is selected automatically.
	- Authorize equipment is selected:	The Authorization check box on the General tab is selected automatically.
	- Authorize external operations is selected:	The Authorization check box on the General tab is selected automatically.
Undo authorization:	- Authorize parts is selected:	The Authorization check box on the General tab is deselected automatically.
	- Start operations is selected:	The Started check box on the General tab is deselected automatically.
	- Authorize equipment is selected:	The Authorization check box on the General tab is deselected automatically.
	- Authorize external operations is selected:	The Authorization check box on the General tab is deselected automatically.

If one of the check boxes in the Lines section is not selected, no action is performed for the cost component in question.

The Date required section allows you to specify whether (and if so, how) you want to modify the required date of the calculation lines:

Do not modify date:	- Authorize parts is selected:	The Required date check box on the General tab remains unchanged.
	- Start operations is selected:	Date required does not apply to operations; no dates are modified.
	- Authorize equipment is selected:	The Required date check box on the General tab remains unchanged.
	- Authorize external operations is selected:	The Planned return date check box on the General tab remains unchanged.
Only overwrite empty dates:	- Authorize parts is selected:	If the date field was still empty, the Required date field on the General tab will be filled with the date in the Date required field.
	- Start operations is selected:	Date required does not apply to operations; no dates are modified.
	- Authorize equipment is selected:	If the date field was still empty, the Required date field on the General tab will be filled with the date in the Date required field.
	- Authorize external operations is selected:	If the date field was still empty, the Planned return date field on the General tab will be filled with the date in the Date required field.
Overwrite all dates:	- Authorize parts is selected:	The Required date field on the General tab will be filled with the date in the Date required field.
	- Start operations is selected:	Date required does not apply to operations; no dates are modified.
	- Authorize equipment is selected:	The Required date field on the General tab will be filled with the date in the Date required field.
	- Authorize external operations is selected:	The Planned return date field on the General tab will be filled with the date in the Date required field.
Overwrite date for lines to be authorized:	- Authorize parts is selected:	If the Authorization check box on the General tab was selected, the Required date field on the General tab will be filled with the date in the Date required field.
	- Start operations is selected:	Date required does not apply to operations; no dates are modified.
	- Authorize equipment is selected:	If the Authorization check box on the General tab was selected, the Required date field on the General tab will be filled with the date in the Date required field.
	- Authorize external operations is selected:	If the Authorization check box on the General tab was selected, the Planned return date field on the General tab will be filled with the date in the Date required field.

If one of the check boxes in the Lines section is not selected, no action is performed for the cost component in question.
