To register multiple sales prices for a part, use the Customers by part form. It allows you to add one or more customers to whom you are selling the selected part. Specify base prices and pricing scales for each customer.
To specify base prices or pricing scales that apply to all customers who purchase the part, you also use the Customers by part form. In this case, add the customer '0', and specify the general base prices and pricing scales for this dummy customer. The prices and pricing scales specified for customer '0' apply to all customers for whom no specific prices and pricing scales have been registered.
The valid sales price of a part is determined on the basis of a search path for sales prices.
Customer-specific parts
If you have added one or more customers to the Customers by part form, it does not mean that you are selling the part only to one of these customers. The same is true for the Customer field on the Sales tab: entering a customer here does not make the part customer-specific.
