Line colors and Vertical line color
Use the Line color field to choose the color to be used for all lines of the BOM on the drawing, with the exception of the first vertical line. The color of the first vertical line is defined in the Vertical line color field. You can choose a different color for the first vertical line in order to match it to the frame lines.
Line spacing for single text line
Use the Line spacing for single text line field to set the line height of single lines in millimeters. Single lines use just one line to display information.
Line spacing for multiple text lines
Use the Line spacing for multiple text lines field to set the line height of multiple lines in millimeters. Multiple lines use the number of lines required to display the entire text, such as a memo text.
Select the Split BOM check box to split up a BOM on a drawing into two sections. This allows you to limit the total height of a BOM if insufficient space is available. When you insert the BOM, you will prompted for the maximum height.
If you select the Print phantom lines check box, the BOM on the drawing will also include phantom lines from the calculation.
Use the setting in the Position on drawing section to determine the position of the BOM on the drawing. Depending on this setting, the engineer must point to the upper right-hand corner or the lower right-hand corner of the BOM when inserting the BOM.
Use the Extension line color field to choose the color of the line connecting the starting point and the balloon.
The leader symbol is the symbol placed at the start of the connecting line to show to which component in the drawing the balloon relates. Use the Block name field to specify a custom symbol (AutoCAD block), if desired. The block name specified must be present on the drawing or in the AutoCAD search paths.
Length of horizontal extension line
For ease of reference, the last section of the balloon line is often placed horizontally. Use the Length of horizontal extension line field to enter the length of this last section. If you enter a value of '0.0', no horizontal line is drawn.
