Use the Synchronize function to transfer the transactions saved on the mobile device to the Isah production database. After the transactions have been transferred, the tables used in Isah ML are reloaded onto the mobile device, to ensure that all data on the mobile device are up-to-date.
Note: Synchronization only works if the mobile device is connected with the Isah Mobile Sync Services. A connection can be established by means of a cradle or over a wireless network connection (Wi-Fi).
Use the Full synchronization function to recreate the database on the mobile device using the data from your Isah database. All tables and the transactions registered since the last synchronization on the mobile device will be deleted when you use this function. You should therefore use this function only if the transactions are outdated or incorrect and you want to reset the local database. To transfer the transactions from the mobile device to the Isah database first, use the Synchronize function.
When you start the full synchronization, the following prompt appears on the screen: 'Recreate local database?' If you choose Yes, Isah ML will delete the tables on the mobile device and all data will be transferred again. If you choose No, the tables themselves will be left intact, and only the data in these tables will be updated. Select Cancel to abort this function.
Note: Synchronization only works if the mobile device is connected with the Isah Mobile Sync Services. A connection can be established by means of a cradle or over a wireless network connection (Wi-Fi).
Use the Current tables function to display a list of the tables present on the mobile device.
Select this check box if you want a function to start immediately as soon as you tap it on your mobile device. If you do not select this check box, a function will not start until you select it and tap Start selected function.
Specify the language in which the Isah ML system messages are to be displayed.
If you select this check box, Isah ML creates a log of the synchronizations that have been executed. As a mobile device has limited storage space, you are recommended to disable this function and enable it only if you encounter problems during synchronization. Then restart the synchronization with logging enabled, so that the problem can be logged.
The ServiceLogFile and SyncClientLog log files are found in the Isah ML installation directory on the scanner.
