Use the Exit form when you leave work. If you choose Exit, the time registration form is displayed. You can change the details if necessary, and then log out. Your status in SFC will now be set to 'Absent'.
Time registration
Your time registration form will initially open on the current day, but you can use the date picker to select a different date up to two weeks in the past. You can now add, change or delete hour lines for the selected date.
If you change an hour line, the line will be shown in italic and preceded by a bullet. This way, you can see the changes you have made, but have not saved yet. You can undo changes until you click Save. Once you have saved your changes, the line markings will be removed.
Note: To change time registration details, you need the appropriate rights.
You can use the following options:
Click this button to add lines, for example if you want to register hours for a operation you have not registered in SFC. You are guided through the forms. The exact path depends on whether you choose direct or indirect codes, for instance.
Use these sliders to switch from the order overview to the cluster overview and back. This allows you to register hours against both orders and clusters.
The cluster overview in SFC only displays clusters that have not yet been confirmed as complete, and clusters that were confirmed as complete less than two weeks ago.
Click this button to add the selected data as an hour line. The new line will not be save in SFC until you click Save.
Your new hour lines will be saved as soon as you click the Save button at the bottom of the form. Also use this button to save any changes you make to existing lines.
Click this button to undo any changes.
To delete an hour line, click this button and then click to confirm the deletion.
Click Log out to exit the time registration process. If configured for your organization, a message is displayed if there are still hours be registered for the current date.
Note: If your company is using clusters, use the Column Chooser to enable the relevant columns. You can now register your hours against clusters. Your settings for the cluster columns are saved in SFC, so you only have to change the settings once.
Click the date picker to display a calendar that goes back two weeks. Each date has an icon showing whether sufficient presence has been registered, and whether sufficient hours have been accounted for. The 'V' in the icons represents 'Accounted for', and the 'A' stands for 'Present':
If the 'V' is green, at least as many hours have been accounted for as there are presence hours for that day.
If the 'A' is green, the employee was present for the time required that day. To check whether an employee has been present for the time required, SFC will check the schedule.
A few examples of dates in the date picker:
You were not present for the time required on this date, and also insufficient hours have been accounted for.
You were not present for the time required on this date, but sufficient presence hours have been accounted for.
You were present for the time required on this date, and sufficient presence hours have been accounted for.
Note: If you do not use SFC to track presence, the 'A' box will always be red.
The net time is usually the time without breaks (based on the working hours table). If the time in this field is displayed in bold, then the break was not deducted from the timed worked.
To change the setting of this field to include the break in the working hours (or to exclude it from working hours), click the Net time field. Use the Net time button in Shop Floor Control to toggle between the two settings.
Tip: In Isah, use the Break field on the Time registration tab to control whether the break is deducted from the working hours by default.
This field contains the total net time the employee has accounted for on this day. The background color (red or green) shows whether it is sufficient, considering the presence hours.
If insufficient hours are accounted for, you may not be able to use the Log out button, depending on the SFC settings. The button may be disabled, or SFC may ask you to confirm that you want to log out, despite the fact that not enough hours have been accounted for.
If the Log out button is not available, you can make it available only by making sure enough hours are accounted for.
Registering absence
To register absence, click this button to open the absence form. Now enter one or more absence lines to account for your absence during the time you should have been present according to the schedule.
Click this button to choose from the possible reasons for your absence.
The absence form may also be displayed if you click the Log out button while insufficient hours have been accounted for. This behavior depends on your system settings. If the form is displayed, you need to specify the reason for your absence before you can log out.
