Note: You can use clusters only if your company has an appropriate license.
If you are using clusters, you can display a column with the cluster codes on the operation forms. These forms are:
Right-click the columns to display the Column Chooser. You can now drag the Cluster column to the form.
Collapsing clusters
As clusters can consist of many operations, you have the option of collapsing them in order to keep the information organized. If clusters are collapsed, you will only see the first operation in the cluster, and the rest of the form will remain available for other operations.
If you see this button at the bottom of the form, the clusters are expanded, and you see all operations in the cluster on the operations form. Click the button to collapse the cluster operations. |

Material availability
The Material column also shows whether a line is part of a cluster. If an operation is part of a cluster, this column shows not one, but two images indicating the availability of the material. The first image (a colored box) shows the material availability for the individual line. The second image (stacked, colored boxes) shows the material availability for the cluster as a whole. The material with the lowest availability determines the color. This means that the material availability indicator of the line could be green, while the material availability indicator of the cluster is yellow, signifying that all materials are available for this line, but not for another operation in the cluster. If no material is required, there is no color coding.
Selecting a cluster
If you select a cluster on the Operations form, the color of other visible cluster lines in the cluster will also change. The Start as a cluster check box now appears in the lower-right corner of the image. This check box is selected by default, because the operation is set to be part of a cluster in Isah. If you leave the check box selected, the entire cluster will be started when you start the operation. If you deselect the check box before you start the operation, only the selected operation will be started.
Note: You can start an operation that is part of a cluster only as a separate operation if you have rights to do so. If you don't, you cannot change the value of the Start as a cluster check box.
The number next to the Start as a cluster check box indicates the number of operation lines in the cluster.
Example material availability
A cluster consists of two lines. The Material column has the following images:
Line 1: |
|
Line 2: |
All materials required for the upper line have been received. Only some of the materials required for the lower line are available. The cluster material availability indicator for both lines in the cluster is yellow, which means that not all materials are available for the cluster.
If all materials are available for the first operation, but at least one of the materials is not available in full for the second operation, you will see the following:
Line 1: |

Line 2: |
