Use the hour code to specify the type of leave, such as leave under the reduction in working hours scheme, special leave, or a holiday. The hour code also determines the leave type the hours are recorded with when they are processed.
Specify the period you are requesting leave for. If you specify a period that spans across a year boundary, Isah TR will automatically split the request into two requests: one request for each year.
Note: The Settings form shows the maximum number of hours of leave you can request per day and the units in which you can request leave (for example, 15 or 30 minutes). The hours you can specify in the Number of hours field depend on these settings.
If you are requesting entire days off, Isah TR will only take into account the number of hours you have been scheduled to work on those days based on the value of 'Regular working hours'. If, for example, you normally work only four hours on a particular day, Isah TR will reduce your leave balance for this day by only four hours. Isah TR will always take into account any existing leave requests for the same period.
If you specify a shorter time than a full day, for example, '4 hours', Isah TR will deduct four hours of leave from each day in the period you specify.
Enter any comments for the request, if required. Your manager will be able to see this information.
Confirm the leave request or
delete the request.
If you confirm the leave request, it will be assigned the status of 'Submitted' and the request will be submitted to your manager for approval. Isah TR immediately reduces the Current leave balance by the number of hours taken off, and the hours taken off are displayed under Total hours taken off.
Leave hours are also displayed in your week report. You cannot change the hours there. To change your leave request, cancel it and request new leave (if necessary).
Note: If you request leave for a day or period you are not scheduled to work, a message will appear and you cannot submit the request.
