Sending an email after completion of a service task

After a service engineer has completed his work at a customer location, and the customer has placed his signature for approval, a confirmation mail will be sent to the customer automatically (signed service task). The send details to be used are defined in the customer settings in Isah. The default values may have been used.

Setting the delivery method for signed service tasks differs in the following ways from setting the delivery method for other documents:

SMTP service settings

An SMTP service is used to send emails from Isah MFS. You need to enter details of that service on the new STMP Settings tab in the Isah Configuration Tool.

Creating custom reports

Custom reports based on the 'Signed service task' report do not support COM scripting.
