Event Scripts

Isah products contain a large number of forms. A number of 'Events' can be linked to these forms. An event can be an action such as creating or updating a record. When the event occurs, your custom event script will be triggered, overruling the form's default event. The characteristics of event scripts are:

• They are linked to forms in the application.
• They contain pre-defined event names. You can find these event names in the Edit Form Event Scripts Reference and the Process Form Event Scripts reference.

Note: You can only link event scripts to data entry forms and process forms. See: Edit Form Event Scripts Reference and Process Form Event Scripts.

Note: You can add menu items to a form using an event script.This menu item is added when a user opens the form concerned. For more information please refer to the InitMenu Event.
