Using a test environment

When you copy your production environment and use that copy as a test environment, you should not create sales orders in the production environment based on purchase orders from the test environment, or the other way around. There is an easy way to avoid this problem: Use the Relationships between companies form to specify the companies that purchase items from each other and the Isah database that holds their accounts. Use this table to add links for your production environment as well as links for your test environment. When you then load a copy of the production environment into your test environment, it will contain the correct settings straight away.
