Parts used for a task are registered in the Part issues section on the Registrations tab of the task. Unplanned issues are unforeseen issues and are therefore not yet registered. When you add these, Isah MFS will automatically add the part to the production calculation of the task in Isah.
Click the icon to add an issue, and specify that it is an unplanned issue. |
If it is an unplanned issue, the picklist you can open by clicking contains the parts you have marked as favorites. Choose the part. If the part has multiple stock lines, you have to select the stock line you want to use the part from.
You can mark parts you use often as favorites, to make them easier to find in the future.
Open the list of parts. |
|
Click this icon next to a part to mark the part as a favorite. The icon will change into a solid star (see below). If the part has multiple stock lines, the icon will change for all of these lines. |
|
Parts that have this icon are your favorites. If a part is no longer one of your favorites, click the icon. The icon will now turn into an unfilled star. |
If you do not have any favorite parts yet, or if you want to issue a different part, then click to retrieve a list of parts, and pick a part from the list. This list contains the stock lines of parts that have your default warehouse filled in. If you also have a default location, the list only contains the parts at your default location (for example, your mobile workshop). Selecting the Remove location filter check box will display all parts from all locations at the warehouse. You can remove a location filter only when you have Internet access. If no default location has been set, you will see all parts present in the warehouse.
You can retrieve the latest stock details only if you have Internet access and your own warehouse/location. While connected to the Internet, you can click the Isah MFS will try to retrieve the details automatically at least once a day. The time the details were last updated is shown next to the refresh button. Once one day has elapsed, Isah MFS will refresh the stock details as soon as there is Internet access. |
|
Use the search feature to find the part more quickly: type all or part of the part code, description, certificate number, or lot number. |
Note: Isah MFS takes into account object-linked parts. These parts have one stock line for each unique part, which makes it easy to identify the right part. When you select an object-linked part for issue, the Object field appears, in which you need to choose the right object.
This field appears if the selected part is an object-linked part. Select the object you are using for the task.
In the case of unplanned issues of object-linked parts, Isah MFS only displays the objects that are in stock at your default warehouse/location.
Line to replace in as-built structure
If a target object was specified for the task, you can indicate which part is to be replaced during the planned or unplanned issue of a part. You can do so only if the settings allow this. If you select a line with the object you want to replace in the as-built structure, then the line number of the line to be replaced will be registered during the issue. If the object to be replaced has any components, those components will be copied to the new object, provided that this behavior has been configured in the settings. You are not required to fill in the field.
Specify the number of units you are using. The unit used for the selected part is displayed to the right of the Quantity field.

Information about setting a default warehouse
A warehouse/location can be set on two levels: for the company as a whole and for an individual service employee.
Isah MFS uses your warehouse (and location, where applicable) when issuing unplanned parts for a service task; in the case of planned issues, Isah always registers the parts against the warehouse specified in the production calculation.
When using unplanned parts, you can only specify parts that:
