Budget allocation methods

An allocation method allows you to automatically distribute a budget over the periods of a fiscal year, based on period-specific percentages. You can assign equal percentages to all periods, or you can use different percentages for each period.

For example, you could define the following allocation methods on the Periods form:

• Equal distribution: The same percentage for each period, in order to distribute the budget evenly.
• 25% Growth scenario: Ascending percentages up to 25%
• Summer peak: The seasonal influences on the turnover are reflected in the distribution, and the summer months are assigned a higher percentage.
