This tab shows the calculated overtime for the selected week report, and allows you to manage this overtime. Overtime appears once the manager has authorized the employee's week report.
The overtime calculation depends on particular settings in Isah Configuration, where you fill in details such as the minimum extra time an employee must have worked before becoming eligible for overtime. The following is true in most cases:
Hours registered per day - Hours scheduled per day = Overtime per day.
Once you have processed the overtime by adding it to the employee's leave, or by sending it to the payroll accounting department, select the Processed check box. This clearly shows which overtime has been processed and will prevent it from being added to the employee's leave or paid out more than once. Once the Processed check box is selected, you can no longer modify it.
The state of the check box may also be modified by the Process overtime process. This process has the same effect as manual modification, but has a number of advantages: it allows batch processing of overtime and it allows scripts to be invoked. This allows you, for example, to use your own scripts to automatically send the overtime details to the payroll accounting department.
