Specify which message service(s) you use. In most cases, this will be only one service; only companies that work with a multicompany or intercompany approach may need to define more.
Press '+' to add a message service.
Fill in the SCSN code of the company that uses the service. For non-Multicompany users, this code is the same as the SCSN code entered in Isah for customer '99999' and supplier '99999'. Multicompany users can have more than one company registered under Customers and/or Suppliers, and they need to fill in the SCSN codes for these respective companies. It is possible for these companies to share message services.
You can add a name for the service, but this is not compulsory.
Fill in the URL of your message service. This was first specified during the installation of the message service and can be found in Isah in the Help menu under Info, Technical information, Supply Chain Integrator.
Press the Save icon at the end of the row.
Click the arrow in front of the row to expand the message service date and see the outgoing authentication.
Your message service will be contacting the web interfaces of companies you do business with in the supply chain to send or retrieve messages. The service will only gain access to these interfaces if you have registered the authentication information these companies have sent you. You do this as follows:
Open the record in which your message service is defined by clicking the arrow in front of it.
Press '+' to add a company that has granted you access to their service.
Under Receiver ID, Fill in the SCSN code of the company whose interface you will be accessing. This has to be the same as their SCSN code in Isah. If it concerns a customer, this code can be found on the Customers form; if it is a supplier, you can find it on the Suppliers form.
Pick the authentication type for this relation. There are three possible settings:
None: You do not need a password or token to gain access.
Bearer: The company has sent you a token to gain access to their environment
Basic: The company has sent you a user name and password to gain access to their environment.
After picking either 'Bearer' or 'Basic', fill in the token or user name/password the company has sent you.
