Production and planning

The production function consists of the following subfunctions:

• Work preparation
• Planning
• Part issue (either manually or by using backflushing)
• Time registration (either manually or by using backflushing)
• Production receipts (either manually or by using backflushing).

The focus of the planning function is on operations scheduling. The part scheduling of purchase parts is part of the purchasing function.
