System tables

The System tables form displays all the tables present in Isah. The form is used during other processes, including:

• Auto-numbering process: When you enter information about the codes you want to be created automatically, use the Auto-numbering fields form to select the table associated with the code to be numbered automatically. For the customer code, you could select table 9 T_Customer (Customers form), for instance.
  1. Fill in the Auto-number fields form as follows for all codes to which you want to apply auto-numbering (specified on the System fields form):
     • Auto-numbering node: Select a database.
     • System table: Select the table corresponding to the code that should be numbered automatically. For the customer code, for instance, this is table code '9 T_Customer' (Customers form).
     • System field: Select the code that should be numbered automatically. For the customer code, for instance, this is field code '1 CustId'.
     • Minimum supply: Specify the minimum number of codes to be available, for example "40".
     • Batch size: Specify the number of codes to be created if the Create key values process is run at a time when the number of available codes is lower than the specified minimum supply.
• Defining BOM definitions: Specify the item(s) to which a BOM definition applies, for example parts (table T_Part).
• Creating custom fields: You can specify the entities for which a custom field should be available, for instance suppliers (table T_Vendor). Click the Custom fields button to view and manage all custom fields associated with the selected entity. If you create a custom field from the Custom fields form, it will be linked to this entity automatically.
