You can place a tab outside a form to allow you to view and edit data from multiple tabs at the same time. For example, if you drag the List tab outside a form, you can check all lines on this separate tab, view detail line information on the General tab, and change the information if necessary. Similarly, on forms containing a graph, it might be practical to display both the graphic overview tab, and the data entry tab. On the Production files form, for example, this would allow you to enter data on the General tab and then immediately see the results in the Gantt chart.
To drag a tab outside the form, you need at least View rights to the tab controls.
Tip: To view fields from multiple tabs at the same time, you can also add these fields to a custom tab. All fields you use on a form will then be displayed together on a single tab.
Note: It is not possible to place the Texts tab outside the form.
