Printer user registration

Use the Printer user registration form to link a user to one or more printer types. All printers associated with the printer type will then be available to that user. In the printer user registration settings, set a default printer for the user in the Printer code field. If the user does not select a specific printer, this default printer will be used. All reports printed by a user will be printed on this printer, unless:

• The report has been configured to print to another printer type
• The user selects another printer in the print dialog just before printing the report

To assign a printer as the default printer to one or more users, the printer must have been registered in the Printers file first.
