Run the Undo release of part revision process to cancel the release of a part revision. Before the process is executed, a number of checks are carried out. The release of the revision will only be undone if the following conditions are true:

• The revision is the last revision.
• The revision has been released.
• The revision has not yet been used and therefore does not exist on:
  • Sales order lines
  • Production files
  • Production file part lines
  • Stock lines
  • Purchase requirement lines
  • Purchase order lines

By running the Undo release of part revision process, the following changes will be made:

• The Released check box on the Part revisions form is deselected.
• The start date of the revision of which the release is being undone will be the 'infinite' date - 1 day (= 12-30-9999).
• The end date of the previous revision will be the start date of the revision of which the release is being undone - 1 day (= 12-29-9999).
• The start date of the lines that only belong to the revision of which the release is being undone will be the start date of the revision.
• The end date of the lines belonging to the previous revision, but not to the revision of which the release is being undone, will be the end date of the previous revision.
