Capacity groups indicate the operations that can be performed at your company. When registering capacity groups, specify information such as:
This information is then used when performing cost price calculations (in the Parts module and the production modules), when scheduling operations (in the Planning module and the other production modules), and for other processes.
Capacity groups could be organized based on rates, capacity, etcetera. You could, for example, create two different capacity groups for 'Drawing', because the rate for creating drawings in AutoCAD differs from the rate for creating drawings on a drawing table. It is also possible that the rates are the same, but you have more capacity available for creating drawings on the drawing table.
Capacity groups can also be used when managing machines. For each machine you add, you can specify the capacity group the machine belongs to.
