Standard capacity unit
You can choose to set the standard capacity unit to 'Minutes per piece' or 'Quantities per hour'. This choice is made once, after which calculations are based on it. You could, for example, specify that a capacity group can generally produce 100 pieces per hour. This is displayed in Isah as follows:
Standard capacity: 100 Quantity/hour
If you change the standard capacity to 'Minutes per piece', the standard capacity of the capacity groups will change as well, and the form will display the following:
Standard capacity: 100 min./piece
The standard capacity unit can be found in the Basic data form on the Settings tab.
Labor time equals machine time
If you select this check box, the machine times you enter in Isah are also automatically filled in for the labor times. Selecting this check box will prevent any changes being made. If you do not select this check box, you can enter separate labor and machine times. You may want to do so if an employee only has to set up and switch on a machine, and is not required for the actual operation.
This setting can be found in the Basic data form on the Calculations tab.
Default values for statuses
If you manually schedule a production file or operation without using the Perform lead time planning process, you can indicate this by means of a separate status. You can assign this status to the production file or to the operation line you have planned manually. The statuses to be used for this have been set as default values in the General Settings module.
The default values are set in the Default values form on the Production tab: Production status after manual planning and Operation status after manual planning.
