Use this field to specify the basic condition for the contract conditions/costs line.
Use this field to specify fixed costs. You can also give customers the option of purchasing variable costs for a lump sum. You could then enter a higher contract sum in the Contract sum field (on the General tab), and enter '0' as variable costs in the Order line price field (on the Order/offer tab).
You can also choose to enter '0' in this field, thus charging the customer only for the actual corrective maintenance. If a failure occurs, you will then only charge the price from the Order line price.
Use this field to specify how the contract conditions/costs line is to be processed in the service order, in other words, whether and how the costs are to be included in the calculation of the contract sum.
Example
If you have defined a service contract version that includes multiple objects and multiple preventive maintenance lines, you can use the contract condition/costs line to automatically include additional preventive maintenance costs in the service order for this preventive maintenance. Examples of such additional costs are call-out charges and administrative charges.
In this case, use the Calculate field to indicate whether the costs are to be included once per version, separately for each object in a version, or for each preventive maintenance line.
This is the part code that is used for the conditions/costs line. The part will usually be of the 'Costs' or 'Service' type. This will be used as the part that will be entered on the sales line or subline.
