Run the Delete journal entries process to purge the file containing the journal entries. Both exported and unexported journal entries can be deleted.
Note: Journal entries deleted with this process will be permanently removed and cannot be restored. So please make sure you have a working backup before you run this process. You are also recommended to take care when setting user rights to the Delete journal entries process.
The deletion of journal entries is registered in the log, and information including the selections used during the process is saved.
Note: You are recommended not to delete any journal entries that have been created. Journal entries provide an excellent source of management information and can substantiate the balances of the ledger accounts in your financial system. Examples include the specification of the ledger accounts serving as suspense accounts (Work in progress, Invoices to receive, etcetera).
